Michael Jordan Scoring Kings Retro
As I’ve discussed, the Michael Jordan Scoring Kings is one of my favourite Michael Jordan cards. Posting up aggressively in the image the card really highlights Jordan’s drive and competitiveness accentuated by the awesome lightning bolt background.
This card takes pride of place in many collections the world over and now you can add side-by-side the same card with Jordan in his UNC uniform! Not only is it an awesome card but is exactly 20 years old this year.

Michael Jordan Power in the Key Retro
Another early 90’s insert makes an appearance in the retro Michael Jordan Power in the Key - also exactly 20 years old.
The Power in the Key Michael Jordan card will bring back memories for a lot of collectors as it was one of the most sought after and cool looking Jordan cards of the early 90’s. I remember staring at it through plate glass which was as close as I got to one for many years!
The cool textured foil design remains as powerful today as ever.

Michael Jordan Team Leader Retro
This blog post is starting to read like a list of my top 10 Michael Jordan cards of the early 90’s inserts!
I’m a big fan of this card. The original 1992-93 Michael Jordan Team Leader was a tough insert to pull in the day and one of the first true chase inserts.
Maintaining its vintage appeal, the Team Leader Retro card suits Jordan playing in his UNC uniform nicely - definitely one to add to the collection!

Michael Jordan Precious Metal Gems
We haven’t been left without a new PMG featuring Michael Jordan in this release. As always these cards are extremely cool and will garner a lot of interest.
The new PMGs have a slightly revised design and are still cool as ever.

Michael Jordan All-Star Retro
In the same vein as the Michael Jordan retro Team Leader, we have the Michael Jordan retro All Star which mimics the 92-93 Fleer All Star.
Extreme old school appeal has been recreated beautifully with the new retro release. I like how Upper Deck have ensured the card stays true to the original!
These are both very cool cards with real history and look great in any nice collection.

Michael Jordan N-Tense Retro
I was always a fan of the Skybox releases back in the 90’s and really enjoyed the Skybox E-Motion set. The key insert from that set for me was the Michael Jordan N-Tense with its high gold foil appearance, nice texturing and holographically reflective highlights.
The 13-14 Fleer Retro N-Tense maintains all these great features with a new release.

Michael Jordan Meltdown
The early 90’s saw a lot of use of really cool foil - often featuring deep textures. One fine example is the Skybox Meltdown. Its an easy card to add to your collection and looks very cool holding its own nicely!
So side-by-side these two cards look amazing!

Michael Jordan Golden Touch
Upper Deck have previously re-released the Golden Touch as part of the 2011-12 Fleer Retro set. That was the 1997-98 Golden Touch however. This year we see the 1996-97 Michael Jordan Golden Touch recreated in stunning retro form.
This is a very popular and somewhat hard to find card. It features the awesome heavily textured gold foil that we’ve seen on some other retro releases and and truly intricate die-cut design.
I definitely recommend this one if you’re looking for a nice showpiece.

Michael Jordan Star Rubies
The Skybox Star Rubies were a popular set back in 1997-98 when they were first released and I’m sure this new card will garner along the same lines of interest! The original was limited to 50 cards only and Upper Deck have maintained that rarity with the retro card.
Perhaps not quite as awesome as the stunning original, this card will still look very nice in your collection. And of course who doesn’t want to be one of only 50 people to own one!
